Spedy’s Commitment to Accessibility

At Spedy, we are dedicated to making tourism and cultural exchange accessible and inclusive for everyone. Our mission is to provide a seamless, user-friendly experience for all members of our community—whether local guides (referred to as Brydgees) or visiting Explorers—ensuring that all users can navigate and enjoy the app with ease, regardless of any disabilities. Spedy implements a set of accessibility features and follows recognized accessibility standards and guidelines to provide an inclusive experience across regions, including the United States, Canada, and Panama.

Spedy aligns with the highest accessibility standards, complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act in the U.S., the Accessible Canada Act (ACA), the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) across Canadian provinces, and internationally recognized standards inspired by the WCAG in Panama. These frameworks guide our design and features to support a broad range of accessibility needs, including sensory, physical, and cognitive requirements—all designed to ensure that each user can fully access and interact with Spedy’s features.

We continually improve Spedy to meet evolving accessibility needs, prioritizing new tools and refinements that enhance usability for everyone. Through active monitoring and ongoing enhancements, Spedy ensures that our app remains inclusive, reliable, and enjoyable, fostering authentic connections across diverse abilities and cultural backgrounds.

For questions, feedback, or concerns about accessibility, please reach out to our dedicated Accessibility Team at Accessibility@Spedyapp.com. We’re here to assist, listen to your feedback, and provide any support needed, helping to create a welcoming and accessible experience for all users on Spedy.
